They sometimes do blood tests from the wrist, I had it taken from my wrist in hospital, just different doctors take it from different places x

I did - can't remember why but they could only do this particular blood test from the wrist

Why were you getting that done?

If it was an A&E or emergency admission it might have been an arterial blood gas (ABG) to measure the oxygen levels in your blood?

If it was a clinic appt or something for routine bloods, you might just have difficult veins lol

I think its for arterial blood gases, checking your oxygen levels in the blood etc.I had it before when they suspected a lung clot and i had bad palpitations x
