Hi, I also suffer with health anxiety, I am always looking for something to worry about, and if I get any symptom, I am convinced that it is something serious,.I am new to this site, and find it a real comfort reading the pages on people suffering with health anxiety like myself. My constant anxiety leads to all kinds of symptoms, and I am frequently visiting my G.P. Please feel free to post me at any time.

Hi Joanne,
Well, I am one of those that up until about a month ago would've said absolutely no way do I suffer from health anxiety....anxiety yes, health anxiety NO! Well, I am now 9months pregnant and I am a complete wreck. I have every imaginable scenario playing out in my head for my labor. I have every imaginable thought of things that could go wrong playing in my head over and over. In having this recently I have realized how bad you all suffer. It has taught me to become much more sympathetic w/those that suffer wtih this. I am sorry that you have this and I am here if you need to talk.
Take Care of You,
Tina
Hi Joanne, you are definitely not alone hunny, but there is hope out there. You'll find lots of support and friends here

Hi Joanne'
Welcome aboard and lovely to see you here. Hope we can be of some help
Nicola
Hi Joanne,
Welcome to NMP just wanted to say I also suffer from health anxiety and I think one of the main triggers was when I worked as a carer for five years. One of my former colleagues left after many years service for the same reasons, so you're not alone in this one. Hope you can get the help you need from the site to reign in those feelings.
