Overdose of citilopram

Hi

I think I took my 40mg dose twice this morning so 80mg. I feel anxious and strange. Can anyone help. Whstvto should I do. Will this affect me when tomorrow I take 40mg again.

Although 40mg is the max per day i think just doing it once should be ok.

If you are not sure give your surgery a quick ring just to put your mind at ease.

Ciatalopram will make you feel a bit like that at 80mg i am sure,you could always give NHS direct a call just to see if they know on 0845 4647 they have trained nurses on the line i think.
