Paranoid about headache :( help!!!

The last couple of days iv had a constant, nagging headache just above my ear on the side of my head :( it dissipates every now and then for short periods of time but its making me paranoid that something else is up :( havn't tried pain killers yet because of the 'what happens if they don't work' thought going on in my head :(

What can I do?

It could be tension or your sinus's, there are a lot of virus's going around at the moment, take paracetamol and if it is still there in a couple of days visit your doctor.

I had sinusitis a couple of years ago and it was the weirdest thing I've ever had! I had a dull headache that lasted for over a week and it came and went so it's possible it could be that? Take some paracetamol or some sudafed if you think it may be your sinus'.

Cheers for the replies guys, funnily enough it has gone now, lasted a couple of days but freaked the hell outta me lol :D
