Tongue issues :-(

Has anybody going or been through this??. Only the past day or so my tongue keeps going from relaxed and flat to tensing up into a sausage like shape. This happens every 5 seconds or so without me even thinking about it. Its driving me mad :-(

Does anyone have an idea what this could be, for reasurance more than anything
