Feeling really low today

Haven't been sleeping well and have had a headache and feeling anxious all day today. I have the heating on, fire on and wearing a wooly jumper but feel really cold and numb. Just don't know what is going on today, don't know what to do with my self. My son and his girlfriend are coming for dinner tonight and I really want to feel better to see them. :weep:

It seems several of us have had the lows these past few days and in my case my anxiety has heightened dramatically as my daughter is no better and she and my wife are off to London in a few days to see yet another specialist.

On a selfish note I will be on my own for 8 days and I am dreading it.

Thank you, It isn't really high anxiety I feel today, it is more that numb feeling...hard to explain but I am sure you all know what I mean x

Hi Annie, sending you lots of hugs. I had a bad few days, te anxiety was lessened but I felt so low an almost hopeless for brief periods. I tried to get busy and that seems to have passed. Struggling with anxiety is exhausting isn't it and has to get you down sometimes.
We are here for you x x

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnie I'm glad I checked in on you. I'm sorry you are having a bad day, wish I lived near you, I would come over and give you a big hug! :hugs:I think when your son comes over later, you will feel much better. (just to see him) plus it will take your mind off those unwanted feelings. I've been cleaning my house all morning, and have felt a bit edgy, Just makes me want to scrub harder. I can't stand those feelings. Hope you feel better soon. :hugs:

Thank you Debbi, My son is here now and it is lovely to see him but I just can't wait for bed time tonight :) I think that is my main problem today, just that I am soooo tired! :hugs:

I'm glad he is there with you. Tired will definitely do it. I shopped with my daughter all night long on Thursday, we didn't come in until 3:00 in the morning. Then I only got like 3 hrs. sleep and back out we went. (I must be crazy) (that daughter of mine) anyway I felt like a bubble head, all day, and still do, and of course I let that get to me, instead of saying Deb you are tired, I jump to that stinking thinking, and say something is wrong with me. Get a good night sleep tonight, and I hope you feel better tomm. Back to work for me, so I am already getting nervous. :mad: Enjoy your time with your son, don't let that dumb anxiety get the best of you. (easier said then done, I know, I myself let it get to me every waking moment) feel better, you have been doing such a good job! :)

I much prefer to shop on line :) Was that your Black Friday sales? We even had some websites here do Black Friday sales this year, I had never even heard of it until my daughter told me.

It was the black friday sales, and they are really great sales, but I should just pay the regular price, and stay in bed, rather then deal with that. (talk about anxiety provoking, those people will kill each other, and run you over, for a deal) We did get what we were out for thank goodness, so that makes it worth it but..........I still think I'm crazy for doing it. (it really is crazy, people wait in lines for days, (not going there) I just go when the doors open. (the stores are open all night long, with certain sales, at certain times) Annie you like to shop online, and they also do cyber Monday. Your daughter can get more shopping done then. (on monday) and you also. I will tell you the good stores.:hugs:

Will have to look at those. My ex husband lives in Nauvoo and my daughter sends presents for her half brother and sister so she usually buys on American sites and has them delivered straight to them. She got a beautiful coat for her 6 year old half sister from the GAP sale x
