Went on this 2 weeks ago for anxiety, and last 2 days have felt so depressed on it, is this normal at the begining? Advice pls??

Yes I felt the same which I couldn't understand as I wasn't depressed before as I had it for anxiety, it will pass, I am now on about 20 weeks, I lose count now, and feel a lot better, now and again the anxiety trys to come back but I feel able to cope with it, the doctor told me last week to stay on it till March at least when I have to see him again, I hope things get better for you soon, it did take quite a few weeks before I felt it was really doing any good.

How many mg are you on, and how did u cope with the depression? X

Citalopram did make my depression worse briefly too, but now, about 11 weeks in I think, I feel fab :) I'm on 30mg

When did u feel u were getting there little scientist?

I am on 20mg and today (day 17) has been the first day I felt any benefits, after a particularly rough second week, when I ad worst panic attack to date . Today I actually felt I could face doing soe things I been avoiding for ages.

About ten days ago, something just suddenly lifted from my head, like a darkness cloud had been lifted

Initially yes, I had some very dark patches while on it at the start
