hi everybody. Im a 39 year old in a terrible place at the moment, feel like im going insane.
I have been signed off work for 2 weeks now and prescribed citalopram but seem to be getting worse with panic attacks and pulpitations. i cant even go out of the house. i just dont know what to do xxxx

Welcome to the forums Woods! :) You'll find plenty of support here from likeminded people.

With citalopram it is fairly common for people to feel worse before they get better. It can take several weeks before you feel the full benefit of the medication. I felt a lot better after 3 weeks, but it was about 11 weeks before I felt the full effects.
