Hi just registered,Was at docs today and was confirmed i have depression due to recent goings on in life was prescribed fluoxetine 20mg,Never had anti depressants before :blush:

Theres lots of information on Prozac on here and lots of posts also
it really does help to read all the positive posts from people who are taking Prozac....I've been on it on/off for over 20 yrs and it really has helped me get through lots of tough times

hi abbie,
i was on fluoxetine for 6 months it takes about 2 weeks to kick in you will feel it, it's a bit funny at first if you havent taken antdp b4 but stay with it as it has to setal in. depression is common and you found the right place to finde others who have been there. x

it is exactly the same but you will generally find if paying for your presciption prozac is more expensive as it is a trade name.
