pain in the neck really sore help

for about a week constant i have had a pain in my neck now given me a headache and it feels as if my i can not hold my head the only time i feel ok is when i lie down and rest of course i think i know its anxiety but in the back of my head i feel Oh there myst be something wrong because its been now a week and more. Someone out there experiencin the same please comment x x

I've suffered chronic neck pain for years ... first from a car accident and now from anxiety. It feels awful!! So don't feel badly if it lasts a week, it can do that. Have you tried anything, such as ibuprofin, tylenol, ice packs, etc? I find ibuprofin and ice packs help me the best but everybody is different. A chiropracter has helped me a lot as well.

Other options .. massage, heat pack, etc. Did you sleep on it wrong or do anything to hurt yourself? Sometimes just tension and stress can cause this.
