I am new to here I have been on citilopram before
Stopped taking at the end of October. Started taking it
Again Sunday 2nd December. I have been really struggling
To cope very angry and very up and down with my moods
I just like people to comment and let me know how they did

Just wanted you to know that you're welcome here.

I can't comment on the efficacy of citalopram as I only took it a couple of times for a few weeks (the side effects didn't agree with me).

However, I'm sure other Citalopram users will be along soon :)

Hi Karen am on citalopram now 40mg at first I hated the side effects which was just feeling more anxious/panicky but now am glad I stuck with them.

Hi Karen, i was only on Citalopram for a short period then changed to sertraline. I found the side effects less on Sertraline. Normally the side effects should have subsided within 2-4 weeks if not best to pop back to the docs.
