I have so many in my right eye that seem to be increasing, have hd them for like 2 years, black spots that swim around and follow eye when I move it. My eye even feels different, it feels droopy nd dry and more sore and the lid underneath twitches almost constantly people have noticed it too.
Floaters are pretty common, I've had them for over 20 years.
When you have anxiety sometimes you just notice them more, when you're OK you just tend to forget and ignore them.
However, if you really think you are getting more floaters, a trip to your optician may be wise.

Yeah I think opticians is a good idea, just hard as an agrophobic :/
When you say "numb", you don't mean no sensation at all, do you? As in dead to touch? Anxiety may be the culprit but see your GP for reassurance, although I'm pretty certain it's nothing serious.
