Hi there my colonoscopy is on friday I am really freaked out already. I cant sleep at all i feel sick getting chest pain left side of my chest sweating lots of wind both ways stomach cramps . I am not too scared of taking the prep, or the procedure it is the sedative they use not being able to remember anything. I had an endoscopy 3 years ago and I was in such a state that my GP gave me 10mg lorezapam 4 the night before 2 in the morning and 4 an hour before. I remember nothing of the procedure I was given the midazolam as well just a low dose and I woke up near the end of the procedure and I was fine took me and went home after 1 hour. I am going to see my GP today and ask him if I can do this again. Really freaking out
