OK, since I do not look online for symptom causes anymore, is this post nasal drip? I've been told I have GERD and have heard post nasal drip is a symptom of it.

I do notice that I need to clear my throat sometimes, because it feels as if something is there. But it's usually when I swallow that I can feel what seems to be mucus at the back of my throat. It gets annoying sometimes because it feels stuck. It seems to be worse at night as well, especially in bed.

So is this post nasal drip?

Thanks.

Well I get the mucous and I've had some sinus trouble.
The reason I think the mucous is sinus related is that it tastes like snot basically and has the same texture.

Does your throat ever feel irrated by it?
Mine does, I often can feel the mucous building up in my throat and at times it seems to get stuck or feels very thick and it's hard to get up .

I find drinking coke seems to help break it up and clear my throat.

You can buy salt water nose sprays in drug stores to help rinse out your nose :)
Decongestants can help, antihistamines if it is alergy related.

Mhmm, I only have to clear my throat a lot, that's all. I don't cough or anything like that. It's like you've only recently got over a cold or something, that's the best I can describe it as.
