FRom citalapram to sertralin

Hi all,newbie here. I have just seen the doc to tell him the Citalopram isnt working anymore, five months on 30mg. I now have anxiety nearly all day everyday(chest pain & stomach discomfort) he has said to change to sertralin tomorrow one tablet 50mg. Has anyone else changed like this,did you have any crap side effects? I am really nervous about taking sertralin as I really had a bad four weeks when I started the citalopram. I am just plain scared!

hi, ive not been on citalopram but I have been on sertraline for a week now. there are some side effects but people are different so you may not get the same s me. I had trouble sleeping but very tired, feeling sick and anxiety heightened a little. also headaches and a foggy head. I have been told these will subside.
