HI,
After another episode of GAD after 1 year of being relatively ok. I am getting tired of it coming back year after year espcially at christmas .The trigger this time was winter vomiting bug was 2 nights of hell which wouldn't have been as bad if i didn't confuse it with GAD ie nausea and sore stomach. The bug will go but the anxiety will stay, i don't want it to ruin christmas for my family and driving to the highlands for that. I also suffer from memory and concentration problems after taking meds which do not help for driving through the Highlands in snowy weather.

Sorry i am new to this forum and will try to be less selfish later when i feel better and a bit more able to answer more threads.

BOB:unsure:

PS I want to give up my stressful job but thats another thread adios!

Hang in there wait until new year for any big decisions at least then they cannot accuse you of leaving for xmas and new year thats what i might do, and maybe by then you will be much better . i work month on month off.

Cheers

Feel much the same guys been so wrapped up in how awfull i feel i keep forgetting its even christmas, always a struggle especially when you feel like crying and emotionally low and everyone wants you to be happy and snap out of it! which makes you feel worse because you cant shake off how awfull you feel no matter how hard you try! if only everyone understood how bad things can get!! Even harder when you,ve got children and you feel like your going to ruin christmas for them takes a real effort get through christmas and new year. Hope all goes well for everyone:)

There are some good posts with comments regarding Christmas, try these:

If you search on "christmas" there are lots of other threads going on too (some date back a long time but the content I imagine would still be valid).
