Pregabalin has anybody tried or on it for Anxiety

Hi all,I have been advised by a pharmacist that pregabalin is good as an add on to citalopram to reduce anxiety.Went to my docs & he point blank wouldnt prescribre it! Any advice would be very welcome.

I'm on Pregabalin, there's a dedication Pregabalin sub-forum on here with plenty of experiences / info.

Your Doc may be averse to prescribing it because of the cost.

It's 60 times more expensive than an anti-depressant per month :scared15:

The practices have to look after their budgets. I'm only on it because I've been though most SSRIs, Trazodone, Mirtazapine and this is all that's left for me.

The drug or the forum?
The drug I'm still adjusting to, into week 4 now and going on max dose tomorrow. The Preg. forum I found really helpful and informative. There's my own "diary" post in there if you're interested. Happy Christmas to you too.
