The last 2 days my poo has been dark brown, I wouldn't say black but quite dark.

Should I be concerned.

I had red wine on xmas day and boxing day night, but non last night. Could that be a reason.

Don't want to panic lol

Mine changes colour every day so I wouldn't worry!

Red wine can definitely do it.
I had a similar experience and then realised that I had quite a bit of red wine on a flight back home to Melbourne from Los Angeles. It took 24 to 36 hours for it all to pass through.

OK thanks, I was bemused cos I have had red wine before and it never caused that before!

I had had it since and it didn't cause dark or black stools, but it has happened before.
Obviously if it lasts longer than a few days, then yeah, maybe check what you are eating as well or pay a visit to the GP, but it should clear pretty quick and it may happen again at random.
