Food poisoning

Help me...I just ate part of the icing of a cupcake that was made 5 days ago, tasted fine, but now I am convinced I am going to get sick from food poisoning. I didn't even think about it when I started eating it, my mum had brought the for me, ones she had left over from Boxing Day, am I going to be sick oh no please I hope not...aarrggghhhhhhhhhh :weep:

I doubt you will get sick from it if it was only made 5 days ago. You would have noticed if it had gone mouldy and even then it probably wouldn't harm you.

It definitely wasn't mouldy and smelt and tasted fine, can't believe I was so stupid!!!! Thanks for your reply :hugs:

You will be fine Hun..I've made cupcakes before and they have sat there for a few days and been fine to eat.
The frosting is made to last.
It's like butter.you can leave it out for ages and its fine.
Don't worry.you will be ok xxx
