Acid/lump feeling on throat

hi all I'm looking for help because this has started to affect my daily life constant feeling of a lump in throat for 3 months now please help

Have you been to your dr sounds like what I have acid reflux I can be retalated to anxiety or too many acidy foods and drinks I take 40mg of omeprazol for it but don't get it in the throat mine is chronic heartburn but you can get it in throat 2 as acid rises up

Taffio, I have this too, and it's a pain in the butt! As shadowstriker mentioned, it definitely sounds like acid reflux. I get it real bad whenever I'm anxious (which is everyday..).

It's driving me nuts the lump has been constant for three months is there light at the end of the tunnel guys

Same... I know exactly how you feel. Have you been to the doctors over this issue yet? I've been told all sorts of different stories on it. Some say it's just anxiety and some say it's acid reflux. Dunno who to believe!

Hi, yes I've been to the doctors many times had full bloods and the doc has examined my throat a few times and I have also had I scan of my belly and insides but I feel anxious just I'm taking lansoprazole x2 a day and been on sertraline for just over a month just hoping that it will calm down eventually.

I have had it for 4 years abit of advice don't drink heavy because If I puke up booze pure strawberry kind of blood comes out it teres you stomach lining witch makes you bleed I have acid reflux all the time as well if you have a anxiety disorder drs love to say its anxiety related lol you could say you have a bad ear answer anxiety

Like aswell my nose is messed up they put it down to hay feaver or a alegy took my 2 years to convince my dr to refer my to a ear nose and throat specialist and I have to have a operation on th16th because the lining in my nose and the bone is displaced 2 years without a good nights sleep and they still won't give me sleeping tablets

I've drunk some Guinness over Christmas does that mean I'm going to puke blood and be in serious trouble do you think you could die from it shawdow?

No if you drink too much alcohol and you have acid reflux and be sick from too much booze some times blood can come out because your stomach is renching tearing stomach lining if to do drink don't drink too anything too gassy or spirits like vodka whiskey ect and watch out for spicy foods and I also find fruit juices are worse for me then drinking coke I think it's the citric acid in it just be streight up with the dr don't let them patronise you mug you off ill be changing my drs after my operation for my nose they are crap

In drink over Christmas had few cans of Guinness today bit other than that don't really drink. I just hope it will settle down?
