Had been doing really well recently with my health anxiety til last night, when I woke up at 2 am with left shoulder pain. By 6am when I still hadn't had the heart attack I thought I must be having, I used google to diagnose myself with a ruptured spleen, despite the absence of any trauma or other symptoms. I am ridiculous, I know. I spent last night carrying a 20lb baby around for hours on that arm and then woke up in a funny position on that shoulder yet I find it impossible to dismiss it as a simple muscle pull or anything like that- it is always worst- case scenario with me.
Whilst the ovarian/ cervical cancer, lymphoma, kidney failure, liver cirrhosis, peripheral artery disease and all the other things I diagnosed myself during my last bout of health anxiety in November all seem to have miraculously cleared up of their own accord, I now have this to deal with. Happy blummin' New Year!
Right, I am off to take a couple of ibuprofen and stay away from Google.
