hi
so for the last few days about a week I've been getting random nagging tummmy pain. My rational self is telling me it's just IBS, I've been eating some rich food over Christmas, it's been a stressful time and I've been drinking a lot more fizzy drinks than usual.
But normally this type of trapped wind type pain goes away in a day or two but this has been persistant and I just can't stop the worry.
I don't even know what I'm worried about, I think my fear is that it's going to be some painful illness- not necessarily worried about lifethreatening illness just anything that might cause me a lot of pain.
So I'm just wondering if anyone knows any tricks for getting over this. Do I just keep repeating the self coping statements? I don't want to go to the Dr's cos I'm so sure that's it's just IBS but still that nagging doubt/worry is there and really irritating me.
