just to say a big thankyou to everybody that replies, my anxiety is based on my heart, i know it sounds mad but i can feel my heart beating all the time and really hard sometimes so when it goes abit faster than normal i get anxiety, and i am constantly checking my bloodpressure to see what my pulse is, its really bad because my heart beating is on my mind 24/7 is anybody else like that? and can you feel your heart beating?

Yep I can feel my heart beating sometimes very loudly.

If you don't think about it then you will not notice it as much.

Have you read the website and all the posts on palpitations on here? I can give you links if you want.

Hi

I know just how you feel. I'me obsessed with my heart to. Always taking my pulse and can feel my heart banging away all the time which throws me in to a right panic. I know its only because i'me anxious and am just more aware of everthing my body is doing. Try not think about it. Easier said than done i know.

hi fisher,

Welcome to the site.
I worry about my heart cus my mum died suddenly of a heart attack age 60.
But even without that happening im sure its always at the back of most peoples minds.
Youl get loads of advice from this site, and just knowing that there are other people who understand what your going through helps enormously.

Take care
LYNN xx
