View Full Version : How do you cleanse your mind?

I feel like im doing okay its just if my head felt better then id be alright! I stopped getting tingly fingers and palpitations etc but i just feel like i have something in my head and im convinced its full of crap and needs a detox but how do you detox your mind?

Ive tried writing thoughts down but what else can i do to stop this depersonalisation and fuzzy feeling? Driving me nuts now i want to feel normal and happy

I start intense psychotherapy next week and hope that will help clear mine x

Try to think from moment to moment, in the now, as in what is happening right now. Like the sun is shining, or its warm/cold etc etc. That helps me, quite often when I feel unreal its partly cos I've gone somewhere else in my head so helps to come back to the present moment.

Perhaps get a book on mindfulness and learn to live in the here and now. It's not easy, but with a lot of practice it should help. I heard someone on tv last night say "I have been living inside my head for far too long, time to move on".

I can completely relate to how you are feeling. Good luck.
