Hi everone, im new to your site, and have read it with great relief that im not alone in the world. im 34 and up until very recently felt in control of my life, i was a successful nurse, and seemed quite self confident, and approx 5 months ago that just out the blue changed. I began to suffer the most bizzare symptoms like my skin was on fire, they first thought it was hair dye as i was in the hair dressers, but i guess that was just co incidence, since then ive had numerous tests, and spent countless money on countless treatments looking for a cure, when i know in my heart its anxiety related. I dont knwo why this has happened, and sometimes i wana just lie in my bed, feeling so exhausted. there are times now i cant even prepare a meal, and just want to curl up in a ball. i have tried relaxation, herbal remedies, imagiry but nothing cures the pain through out my body, the docs say its is hypersensitivity in the sense that through anxiety my nerves have become overactive, thats ok but doesnt cure the pain, or the burning heat, ive watched my life fall apart, but im still tryin to get up every day and take a deep breath, and thank god im still alive. i would like to thank u on a great site, that brings support and relief to people like me who sometimes feel like there living in hell on their own.

take care

Welcome aboard, Karen.

I too get very hypersensitive to various things, and only time will heal whatever treatment you go for.

Hopefully, being here will ease the pain and give you a greater understanding why various people end up like this.

Take Care,

Ray

hi karen i am new to the site i am an auxilliary nurse and work in a hospital, i have been suffering from anxiety for 3yrs, the first year was the worst, day and night i had anxiety, i wouldnt take tablets off the doctor because i just think they mask the problem, i take homeopathic chrystals called aconite they do help, i was like you didnt want to do much but i carried on going to work and struggled through and i am made up i done it because having people around you in work helped, i went to see a nutritionist, and seen a councillor, but you will get there i promise you, the more help you get and support you will get through it, the old saying is accept the feelings and they will pass, saY TO YOURSELF YES I HAD THOSE FEELINGS YESTERDAY AND NOTHING HAPPENED TO ME SO I WILL IGNORE THEM WHEN THEY COME ON ME, IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO EMAIL ME WHEN YOU FEEL LOW I AM ALWAYS THERE FOR SUPPORT, MY EMAIL IS BUTTONSJ@3MAIL.COM X

Hello. My name is Candygirl. I am new to the posts as well. I have a strange eating disorder that has plagued me since I was a teenager. Excuse my spelling. I am actually a professional but I can't spell. Anyway. I can not eat in front of people and especially in restraunts. Sometimes, I am able to do so but other times I get so nervous I can not eat. I feel very sick and frustrated. Does anyone else experience this and can you provide me with some ideas? I have experienced bulimia several years ago but mostly now I am recluse because I can not eat in front of others. This has created a huge problem for me and I have suffererd in silence for years. My daughter laughs. My ex-husband never knew. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
