Is this a problem?

Hi everyone. Im currently on propanolol for anxiety only but i have run out! The box says do not stop taking this medicine. I am now worried. Any advice? Thanks guys

Have you been on them for long?
If not you may not suffer from any withdraw symptoms,
Be careful in future though, it's never good to suddenly stop your medication.
If you can try and get a supply until you can see your doctor.
Go to a walk in clinic or even to the hospital.
If your doctor is booked up ask them if they can still write you out a prescription or even fax it too your local pharmacy for you.

Ive been on them a week, so im not too sure what happens when you come off them all of a sudden, thanks for your advice!

I don't think its too much of an issue because your doctor would have maybe said to come back for another prescription.

I'm not 100% sure though,

I was on propranolol ages ago and remember suddenly not taking any and they lowered the dose.

But maybe its best to phone the doctors and ask them to leave a prescription at the desk for pick up.
