I guess this is a type of depression. But for about six months now since I have been suffering with bad health anxiety I feel nothing for anything I do or have. I have a full time job which I hate, a girlfriend who I have been with for a year who is a good person but sometimes I just don't feel like being around her. I don't enjoy any of the things I used to, football, music, drumming, video games or socialising which I used to love. I feel numb and tbh fed up with being like this. I know this is a morbid post but yeh I'm bored with life. If it wasn't for my parents I feel I would have had enough.

Sorry for the really morbid post, is this just a very low glitch ?

I feel for you. I used to play the drums too, now learning to play the keyboard. Sometimes you have to keep doing stuff whether you enjoy it or not and wait for the feelings to return. All the best.

Baggs is sooo right , just keep trying.
I know that listless and fed up sunken feeling , no energy , not interested in what you used to be interested in ~ it's awful.

Your not alone.:winks:

Same here. I find when I'm adjusting to a new medication my emotions become dulled so my usual hobbies don't excite me anymore. I just carry on doing them, the pleasure returns :)

It could be mild depression of course, not uncommon with anxiety of course.

I never feel bored. Tired & lethargic, yes. But never bored. Focus on doing things that you enjoy even though you may feel no pleasure at the time. Doing these things will renew your interest, energy and facilitate your recovery
