stool question ...

Sometimes I have black specks throughout ... only notice it when I wipe, stool looks normal otherwise. They look like pepper sprinkled almost.

No pain, I have always had a history of constipation so take miralax as needed, also on multivitamins, birth control pill, lexapro, valium as needed, allegra.

I can't think of something I've eaten that is that color ... I know I have noticed this in the past and ignored it. I don't know why I can't ignore it now.

Anybody have similar?

yep! I've just been to the loo and noticed similar! All the acid and digestive enzymes change the colour of our food (except beetroot - which can make some with HA have a heart attack if they look down the toilet! lol!) xxx

Well think I noticed what the culprit was ...

I've been eating multigrain tortilla chips a couple days this week with salsa. Just was eating some for a snack, looked at them, and there are black pieces of black corn kernels throughout the chips that look identical to what I saw. Bingo.

Don't feel as concerned anymore, but a bit embarrassed :blush:
