View Full Version : new person
hi, first time here and not sure what to say. im not very good with getting to know people closely - i work, go out with friends etc but tend to feel a bit like an on looker at times. have been seeing a counsellor since January to try and sort things - feels like im trying to deal with a life time issue - lack of confidence, worrying all the time etc etc but kind of glad i go. i think i have made progress but there are times when i feel like i am reverting back to type and shutting myself away etc etc. sorry if this dosnt make sense.

Hi
I'm new too. Just registered a few minutes ago. I've never had counselling for my panic disorder or depression, just medication.

Hi Jen
I can relate closely with you on the on-looker, lack of confidence, worrying etc. Everything you said made sense.
You'll find loads of friends and help here.

Hi Jen.
Makes perfect sense. I sometimes think reality is the other side of a glass screen. I'm an extrovert, but sometimes it's hard work and I feel like just hiding away.
Hi,
