Feel spacey and high on setreline! Is this normal?

First day on 50mg setreline, feel sick and had diarrhea, and now I'm feeling giddy, spaced out and almost feel high, like I'm not all here, brain fog, just feel strange but not overly anxious, but these feelings aren't normal on the first day? I'm worried please help

Hi, Not sure, I am on Sertraline 50mg and have been since last June, not really had much in the way of side effects apart from nausea sometimes and yes i think you can feel a bit spaced out especially if you take them on a nearly empty stomach, some burning perhaps in top of stomach and slight headaches on and off, not sure if its form the medication or not though.

Yes, just go to bed and relax tomorrow you will likely feel better.

I remember feeling almost high when i first started on sertraline...kind of like a buzz...lots of energy...wasn't unpleasant..just strange.

i have been on 50 mg for 5 months now and it has really really helped me. i feel so much better. hang in there i'm sure it will all settle down.
