Hiya!

Firstly let me say that the shaky feeling is adrenaline, your anxious so your body is extra aware which is causing the shakiness.

What do you mean by a sore head? like a headache or like the skin?

Emma, you have sinus on the top of your head so it could be that and as panic12 said because you are worrying about your head you are getting the shaky feeling. When I get sinus pain on the top of my head I use a lavender wheat bag (the sort you heat in the microwave) and that helps to relieve the pain.

Hiya.
Thank you I made the app for Wednesday after Fridays one because I needed some time to think and consider everything that was said to me.
Weighed my self today and I'm 6 pounds heavier than 2 days ago but I did start my period today I'm on the scales every other day and everytime I gain I stop eating so much. Cut down to porridge a sarnie and dinner to try to loose it. I'm terrified I've not put on weight because of period but because of my crap diet but I just can't stop it its terrifying and I'm scared ill become obese to the point I won't be able to move!!

---------- Post added at 19:21 ---------- Previous post was at 19:07 ----------

I've also comfort eat for th last for week lots of junk including a jar of pickles . Feeling like this is actual weight gain due to diet and I am scared silly over it.

A couple a weeks ago api felt so bad all I ate was crisps and cereal bars all day and dinner.
I just don't feel good about my self now and now I kno what ill do ill cut down eating and starve until I go back down in weight again :( it's the same cycle.

---------- Post added at 19:50 ---------- Previous post was at 19:32 ----------

I will loose loads of sleep over this tonight.
I need some healthy sandwich ideas with food that I can buy saturdaynand won't go off until the following Thursday.
I can do chicken salad. Ham salad . Tuna. Salami and salad.
I'm panicking big time over my weight as I've eaten loads and loads of fatty foods.
Head says period water weight
Heart says you will become obese

My job provides me with exercise.
My arms are huge from muscle they bulge out a lot even without tensing but I'm so scared. I was closer to eight stone a few days ago now closer to nine!!

Emma, by your own admission you live off junk food and have a terrible diet. Just eating chips, cakes, junk snacks etc... isn't going to help. These things are fine in moderation but you need to be eating decent proper meals, then you won't be so likely to want the snacks in between.

If your weight and health is something that worries you, only you can change this. You have a fridge, most food will keep fine in there for well over a week

Maybe don't weigh yourself every other day, as weight will fluctuate a lot anyway. Why not do it once a week, then you should notice a marked change?

Like you said, get some healthy ideas of what to have - you can do things like pasta, leave it to cool then add stuff in and take it with you. Or wraps or crackers. Soups are good too.

People do tend to put on weight around their period, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Do try not to eat too much junk though, as obviously it's not good for you! Try to do some exercise too, as this will make a difference.

Let me know if you need to discuss anything the doctor said. If they offered CBT then I'd take it - I found it helpful and have read loads of positive things on here about it.

I do have breakfast and dinner.
Always have dinner when I get home.
Breakfast the last few days has been porridge with nothing added (just the pack of oats) .
Maybe could add a banana or berries to that?
Most dinners are healthy ish.
Cottage pie.
Roast chicken.
Sausage casserole .
You know all the usual. Usually have 1-2 veg with it 6 days out of seven.
It's inbetween the two meals that's the issue I'm faced with.
If I ever became fat I'd drive my self mad. I do have a tiny bit of extra fat on my tummy and over the last few days I look pregnant but I'm guessing that is genuine bloatness from my monthly.
I get very stuck on ideas for a packed lunch and I find that's when it all goes to hell and back again. I just have no clue.
I've also tried drinking 1 litre of water a day as of today will that make me gain weight?
At this rate ill need a referall to a dietician as well as a cbt therpist.

Thanks lizzie.
Yes have a bad relationship with my scales in the corner of the room. Not very good.
When I have three meals I feel like I've Eaten far to much for some reason it's crazy.

They offered cbt , meds and counselling I couldn't face making a decision there and then so asked if I could have some time to think an made another app for Wednesday. I'm really not into taking Meds for it and really don't want to if I can help it

Is this a normal days worth of food?
Breakfast- porridge with or without fruit or a teaspoon of something added jam mixed in etc. and a glass of milkshake or a glass of a smoothie.
Lunch. A sandwich .
I'm considering buying lettuce tomatoes peppers red onion celery etc to put in sandwich . not a fan of cucmber. with either tuna or chicken or salami etc etc. and either some gucalome or a low fat mayo maybe . and a piece of fruit.
Dinner- cottage pie. Chops and veg. All the usual .
This always sounds like far to much food to me though! Am I crazy is it even enough.?
If it was up to me I'd have porridge. A sandwich for lunch and dinner.
I hate when I see weight gain as I just stop eating all together.

I wouldn't have milkshake for breakfast. Smoothies are good but remember they still have a lot of sugar in. Could you put some fruit in your porridge?

Those salad bits are good for sandwiches. Like I mentioned earlier, soups are good too, and things like Ryvita crackers.

Dinner - red meat can be fatty. Try to have more chicken and fish, as they're better for you. Red meat is fine in moderation. Stir frys are very good if you don't add high calorie sauces to them. Chicken, loads of veg and olive oil. Maybe some ginger or lemon in there to flavour, depending on what you like.

That's a right amount of food. If you just have a sandwich for lunch and dinner then that'll explain why you feel the need to fill up on snacks and unhealthy stuff. Bananas are good snacks, or a handful of nuts or dried fruit.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not an perfectly healthy eater as I like my chocolate! However, I eat lots of fruit / veg, mainly Quorn or white meat or fish. Brown bread, brown pasta. Therefore, it's ok to eat odd chocolate / cake.

I know work has given you muscle but you need some other sort of exercise that gets your heart pumping. Even just a brisk walk, at a fast pace. I'm terrible for exercise so I know how hard it is!

I know people of differing opinions re meds. I personally agree with them, as I think if it was a physical illness people wouldn't hesitate to take them. They made a HUGE difference when I started them, and made me feel able to start facing things. However, everyone is different and you need to decide yourself whether you want them or not. I would DEFINITELY recommend CBT. Also, you have some issues with your parents, self-esteem, etc so counselling would help. I don't think you can have that and CBT at the same time though, so maybe try CBT first and once you've learnt the skills your confidence may improve as your anxiety does.

Thank you.
I will be taking up the offer of cbt Wednesday 100 per cent. It's finally got to breaking point now I can no longer carry on and it's time to get it sorted.
I do worry about my ticker (heart) as well with all the rubbish consumed over the last few years of pure hell (anxiety).
Yes your right everything you think is healthy your then told its not by someone else hard to decipher sometimes what I should and shouldn't be eating.
Anyway up at 5:30am as got to leave extra time for work journey because of the snow. Would normally get up at 6!

I know how you feel, I lost 5 stone 12 months ago and I managed to keep it off until this anxiety started, my appetite now has gone off the scale due to medication and comfort eating. I am so disappointed in myself as I know I have put on a large amount of weight. I'm too scared to get on scales because I am ashamed of the weight I have put on. I can't get my brain to tell me to stop eating so much. Any ideas as I need this weight off :(

Have you seen your gp he could refer you to a dietician or a mental health specialist as that's were the issue comes from?

I've been assessed for cbt just waiting for appointment now, but that's for my health anxiety, so I don't know whether it would address that also. :hugs:
