Very Worried....

Hi there,

I have started taking 20mg/d citalopram for generalized anxiety and health anxiety and am feeling pretty rough with them.... headaches and nausea etc.

But for me the most worrying symptom is the inability to concentrate and my short term memory just seems to have vanished! I am currently trying to study for my degree and need to be as sharp as possible!

I have taken 3 doses so far so am not very far in, I am just wondering..... is this one of the side effects that gets better?

Hi, I'm on day 11 and the brain fog is horrible!! I have been told by the lovely people on here that it's a side effect that will get better over few weeks. I found reading the "surviving citalopram " at top of page very informative ..... ESP the side effects bit !! X
