Ache in centre of chest

Hi there
For the last few weeks I've been experiencing an ache
Between my boobs (sorry)
I take lansoprazole every day and ran out for
About 5 days. That was over 2 weeks ago now
It's a scary ache not a pain, it's making me think its my heart!

I'm 46. Take amlodipine for high BP
Also take sertaline 50mg and amitripline 10 mg per day

I'm getting acid reflux too, but have never had this
Ache before.
Even my bra feels uncomfortable.

Just wondered if anyone else has had this?
Any idea on what could help?
Could it be my heart, hope not I'm a bit anxious
About anything heart related at the mo.

Highly unlikely to be your heart due to the duration (3 weeks). Does it get worse with exertion?

Probably to do with the acid reflux. Or muscular. Relax.

Thanks for replying, can be sharper pain when I bend forward
Or reach up.
No worse when walking or doing housework.
My shoulders and back of neck are aching today.
Just got in from shopping and my chest felt tight

Ughhhh, I get this, and I actually have it right now. I can't stand it. I am the same as you worry, worry, worry that it is my heart. I think/hope that it is muscular. I think it is stress, and tension. Try to relax, and hopefully it will go away. Hope you feel better soon. :hugs:

Yea sounds like muscle I had this still do not as bad tho I notice when I rub the area its oainfull


I had to keave work early last week because of this pain when I bent down to pick something up I was freaking iut that it was aortic disection seriously my way of thinking has gone crazy lol
