Hi guys.

Next week I'm starting behaviour therapy in CBT. I wasn't too worried about it but now I'm slightly bloody nervous!

I understand the therapist will induce anxiety and panic, but how? It's not something you turn on and off with a tap?

Has anyone had any experience of this?

It is really nothing to worry about. The therapist will explain it fully with you and will help you to change negative thoughts into positive ones. You will probably get some homework to do (such as filling in sheets with 'thoughts' and feelings connected to them. She will also explain to you about anxiety and panic and help you with ways of dealing with it.
