Aspiration Pneumonia

Hi Everyone, hope you are all well! My anxiety has taken another turn for the worst. :(

I was eating popcorn a moment ago and was having trouble swallowing it so was drinking water each turn after chewing to help it go down. I accidently drank too much water with chewed popcorn (sorry) and I started choking and I think some of it went down into my lungs :(

Now I am scared I am going to develop aspiration pneumonia or die of acute food aspiration because I am coughing,coughing up flem,feel breathless and my throat feels like something is stuck and I feel cold and have a headache.



I don't know what to do? am I just being silly about it?
Really panicking about it and any reasurrance would be lovely

I have been suffering with gerd at the moment could the symptoms be related to that instead?
