Has anyone on here been diagnosed with this? I've had vertigo for 2 months and seeing an ent specialist next week. I had full on vertigo for a month that was worse when I moved my head up/ down etc. My gp thought it was bppv. It seemed to ease for a few week but last week my head went funny again and my balance has gone again. I am getting headaches and pressure in my head. I have googled which I know I shouldn't but my symptoms don't seem typical of bppv i.e headaches aren't associated with it. I have awful brain fog with this and mild earache in my left ear. I can't stop thinking something more serious is going on like a tumour or m.s. My balance is awful when I first get up and I have to shuffle about like an old woman.
I'm worried sick because my head never feels normal or clear.

i've had bppv (and had it cured).
my experience was the dizziness ONLY occured when i turned to my right in bed
and sometimes if i looked up (like at the ceiling).
the rest of the time i was fine.

I could easily trigger it with the movements i describe above but nothing else triggered it & I had no headaches or earache or anything like that.

This is what mine started off like just when I layed down/sat up/look up/look down or left or right. I could set the spinning off if I turned my head but it seemed to ease for a few week but now I just feel off balance most of the time and not the full on spinning. I am wondering if it could be migraine associated vertigo because it's always the left side of my head that I get pressure and headache.

The ent specialist can send you for brain scan if he is concerned at all, they often do with dizzy problems to rule out benign tumour on ear nerve. Remember there are loads of none life threatening reasons for this . I have serious damage to my neck and get vertigo attacks and days where I feel unsteady plus I have pulsitile tinnitus 24/7 as well so understand what you are going through.

Vertigo/dizziness so affects your life doesn't it.

It sure does. I am baffled at how I had full on vertigo when I got up one morning and I haven't been the same since. One day I have dizziness the next awful brain fog and the next headache and pressure all day. It's scary.
