If I cut a 20mg in half is it 10mg?

I'm taking 2x 20mg at the moment and am so damn tired. I am due to start a really demanding job on Monday and cannot deal with this tiredness where I just want to sleep during the day. I feel completely sleepy and although I've only been on 40mg for about ten days I cannot afford to feel so slow and tired.

If I took 1x 20mg pill, and then cut another 20mg pill in half would that be 30mg? I think my tiredness would lessen at 30mg, and feel it was a bit stupid for me to go from 20 > 40.

P.S Would it be ok for me to just go from 40mg to 30?

Yeah if u half the tablet it will half the dose.
Don't see any prob cutting from 40 to 30! I've always only ever been in 20mg or 10mg - but I find increasing or decreasing affects me so I usually cut pills in half and go down 5mg at a time to ease side effects! Good luck for new job
