Can drinking bucketloads of red wine cause black stools?

I overdid it on the weekend. Drank red wine Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and fair bit of it too.
Today my poop is black. Can red wine cause this?
Please say yes? I have stomach cancer fears.

yes it's just due to the colour of the wine, totally normal and harmless : )

yes most definately. i usually drink white, but even after 1 glass of red i have black poop!! xx

All back to normal today. Might try sav blanc from now on.
