I believe I have the beginning stages of MS. My Dr believes it's anxiety. My clinical exam, blood test, and EMG all came back normal. I want an MRI of my brain just to be positive but there is no way my insurance will pay for it bc all my results are normal. How do u trust your Dr and get over this feeling of doom?

There is no cure for MS.
It's very hard to diagnoise but it can pretty much cause any neurological type symptom. So symptoms alone aren't a reason for concern . But with MS symptoms will get worse.

At the moment be glad that you don't even have symptoms bad enough to warrant further investigation.

The doctors would have been able to tell a lot from looking at your reflexes.
That's the base line, if there were any MS lesions in your brain you wouldn't pass the basics tests.

Then an MRI and a lumber puncture would show up signs of MS.

Did the doctor give you any cause/explanation for your symptoms ?

Can you have MS without lesions on the brain?
