Hi

I'm not sure wether its an ulcer or something more sinister, i'm thinking sinister because of all the throat problems and i think whatever it is has spread to my mouth :(

Anyway, its clear'ish and is on the connective tissue part between the tounge and bottom of the mouth, where those vein things are under the tounge.

It sticks out though and is a fair size, i'm getting paranoid because i didn't think ulcers stick out? is this true? or is it because of where in my mouth the ulcer is, IF that is what it is, but i'm not sure.

I googled images of ulcer under tounge and the further i got down the page the more horrific the images got and i scared myself now cause if it is an ulcer i'm worried it might end up like those images :(

Sounds like a mucocele (blocked salivary gland). Ridiculously common, hang around for a while and generally disappear on their own. I had one 3-4 years ago and sounds like you're going through the same thoughts that I did :)
