I work as a development executive and producer at LANDMARK FILMS in Oxford. We make high-end documentary singles and series for all the major broadcasters including BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, an Ch4. In fact, we have made My Child Won't Speak (on selective mutism, a phobia of speaking) which aired on BBC1 to great ratings and reviews. We also have a history of well-crafted documentary series and singles in the medical arena covering everything from neurology dept to phobias.

I am developing a documentary idea on tokophobia (severe fear of childbirth and/or pregnancy):

COULD YOU BE A BIRTH PHOBIC?
ARE YOU TERRIFIED OF PREGNANCY AND/OR CHILDBIRTH?
COULD YOU BE TOKOPHOBIC (extreme fear of pregnancy and childbirth)
DOES THE SIGHT OF A PREGNANT WOMAN FILL YOU WITH DREAD?
ARE YOU TOO SCARED TO HAVE CHILDREN?
HAS THIS DEEP-SEATED FEAR IMPACTED ON YOUR RELATIONSHIP?
HAVE YOU HAD THIS FEAR SINCE CHILDHOOD AND DO NOT WANT CHILDREN AS A RESULT (primary tokophobia)?
OR DID YOUR PHOBIA START AFTER A TRAUMATIC BIRTH (secondary tokophobia)?
ARE YOU CURRENTLY PREGNANT AND IS THE FEAR IS MAKING YOU WANT TO END THE PREGNANCY? OR HAS IT DONE IN THE PAST?

As mentioned this is just at an ideas stage, but I would love to hear from those who can identify with the above. All conversations will be in confidence.
