I had a colonoscopy 3 weeks ago and I just want to say I was terrified I had to go to my GP before I went to get 10 tablets to take over 12 hours just to get me there and when I got there the nurses were so nice and the doctor was lovely he gave me a painkilling injection which had a big effect on me and then some midazolam I said I was going to watch it on the screen but then I fell asleep and the next thing I remember was waking up and saying goodbye to the doctor and being taken back to the ward. I felt fine. I would do it again if I had to so try not to be afraid I know you think it will be awful and its scary but I am a nervous wreck and I found it ok
