My name is Paul. I was quite pleasantly surprised to discover that there were others that could relate to my obsession over swallowing. To be quite honest, that info alone has made my obsession less severe.
I have recently retired after 30 years of working as a counselor. I think part of my anxiety and obsession is coming from having to switch from worrying about someone else's problems to worrying about myself.
I, primarily, worked with disabled individuals in their pursuit of appropriate employment. I would gladly volunteer my services or suggestions to anyone of this site. I am certain that I will benefit from this site.
