Hello everyone, Ive been looking at this site for sometime and decided it was time I joined. I was agorophobic with severe panic attacks for many years. Then we moved house to Devon and I got a new doctor, after several tests he found I had an overactive thyroid and after treatment for that my agorophobia has more or less gone. I still have some panic attacks and am still on medication for these. I am hoping that they will slowly subside and I will at last be able to lead a normal life. It shows that sometimes a change of doctor can work wonders.
