Insomnia...

I suffer greatly from this dreadful affliction. Does anybody know how to stop it?
Had about 4 hours sleep last night & had to be up at 6am. My eyes are hurting and I feel all shaky and cold. Its such a horrible feeling.
Its like a vicious circle.
I want to fall asleep now for abit but I know it wont help

The other thing that worries me is that ive been jolted awake a few times and my heart is beating fasy upon waking. Is this anxiety?

My friend has suffered from chronic insomnia for 12 years and at one time took zopiclone for 3 years before they refused to prescribe it anymore.

I told her about the supplement melatonin and she bought the capsules and took 3 at night and she is now sleeping better than she has ever done for many years. They are a sucess for her and she is so glad she tried them.
