I keep quite a few animals and I thought it'd be nice if I post some pictures of them here. Most of the animals I keep are in breeding couples so often we have young animals. Especially in spring! It is a great distraction from the panic.

This is our cat Toet. She is about 7 years old right now:

This is our cat Thor, he is a son of Toet and is 2 years old now:

This is one of our many rats:

One of the frogs living in our greenhouse:

This is our female Harris Hawk. We currently have a male with her and hope they will get offspring:

This is one of our Syrian hamsters. We keep Syrian, Winter White and Campbell hamsters:

This is one of our 6 Tawny owls:

I hope you keep the hamsters well away from.....well all of the others really. :D

Edit except the frogs, I expect they would be fine with the frogs.

Thank you all for your responses!

@Jamesk.. Funny enough I had a pregnant rat chewing trough the bars and escape last winter, I found her back unharmed and with healthy babies in the owl aviary :scared15: of all places! My owls are so used to being fed things that don't move that they get scared of things that do move and avoid them at all costs :) So they sat in the far end of the aviary looking very scared at the rat!

@Boingboingboing (great name BTW :) ) I love chins! I never kept one because they require some total different things then my other rodents but they are very beautiful and fun to watch!

Love them all! Not so keen on the rat though, it looks sweet on the picture, but I am just scared of them for some reason.
Thanks for posting. :)

Hi Owlkeeper, Too be honest as long as chin chins are kept pretty quiet and out of the sunlight, they are pretty easy to look after, but they are really messy :noangel: love their raisins and sand baths though!

@Almamatters Yes often people are not to keen on rats. I guess it's the tail thing!

@Bikermatt Glad you have much happiness from your pets as well. Which ones do you keep?

@Boingboingboing Never figured they would be easy to look after! Quiet would probably be a problem here though with Owls screams at night and teenagers running by (poor chins would probably get a heart attach every time one of the kids runs up the stairs.. it sounds like a bloody freight train..LOL) I've seen the sandbath thing on youtube.. It looks very cute but indeed messy :)
