I went to an eye doctor last month because I was seeing flashes in my vision and my eyes were bothering me. She dilated my eyes and she found nothing wrong. I've been seeing flashes everywhere now and everywhere I look, I see static and weird lines (that are different from floaters). It wouldn't bother me so much if it wasn't interfering with my central vision and even now, without moving my head I can see strange flashes and lines moving outside of my vision. Its getting progressively worse and I was wondering if there was a different type of eye doctor that I could see. I had an MRI last month as well and it came back normal.

I know its different from floaters, I would really like to see someone who can help me.

I would trust the eye specialist. They can see everything to do with your eyes. Could you be having episodes of ocular migraine? I get these and they are harmless. I also get them without experiencing a headache with them. I think anxiety can cause all sorts of problems with your vision. Most of it is not real but comes about because you notice things that are normal and you wouldn't usually notice them at all. Then the anxiety makes you pay attention to them and you start to believe that they are abnormal.
