View Full Version : Chemical taste in mouth.
Hi,i have just been sucking on a mint as i normally do throughout the day when i was hit by this awful chemical taste in my mouth a really bitter taste too,now i'm panicking thinking the mints have been contaminated...please help..thanks
Hi puppyskin,
I don't know if this is the same but I have noticed that I sometimes have a metallic taste in my mouth, which I think is down to anxiety. Is that the kind of thing you had? I really cant
imagine they were contaminated.
Hope this helps.
I have done this and realised a piece of the foil wrapping was stuck to the mint...Could this be the reason? I wouldn't be worried about it though I am sure they won't be contaminated and this sometimes happens when eating things.
Thanks for the replies, its a bitter metallic taste,i think maybe thats what adrenaline tastes like?

Are you on any medications? Medications can change how some things taste. Like mints.
I am but been on them years,i think i just tasted anxiety.
If it is a Metalic taste, then it's more likely anxiety, had this for several days, went to see doctor at the time and it was just anxiety etc.
a metalic taste can be anxiety. ive had that.
