gagging ?

hiya recently when ive got really stressed out i start gagging im not sick and it only happens when i get into a real state is this another anxiety thing ?! if anyone has experienced this or has any info would be great x

I think this could be linked to the feeling of nausea that often accompanies bouts of stress/anxiety. I can remember lots of times I've had panic attacks (almost always worse in the morning), gone dashing for the bathroom and ended up wretching down the toilet yet without being sick (sorry for too much info there).

I get this too, especially if I am starting out on a long car journey and I hate it but it does wear off after 10 mins or so.

Thanks everyone ! Sarah, yeh it's like a wretch kind if thing like my throat is doing it by itself very strange sort of just tensing up I do have abit of an acid indegestion problem like even when I brush my teeth it makes me gag abit !so I don't know if it could be to do with that. dan, yeh it does happen when im particularly stressed yeh I run off thinking I might be sick but haven't yet . If anybody finds anything to help it let me know lol x
