lump under instep of foot

hi all

Took my shoes off and my left foot felt tender when i felt under the arch of the instep of my foot theres like a tendon that runs along and i have a lump on mine and thats what tender. Scared its bone cancer. Anybody else had anything like this.

it could be a harmless sore of some kind, cyst of some sort. I would maybe soak your feet in some warm salt water, wait a few days before seeing your doctor if it doesn't clear up : )

thankyou for your reply. Went to doctors today he said it was a gangling. Looked up on internt they say cant get ganling on arch of foot. So what do you do think i m going to take my doctors word for it he did feel the lump. He said it was nothing to worry about. His such a good doctor always got time never makes you feel embarrassed for going.
